Description
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) is an excellent remedy for headaches and migraine. It needs to be taken prophylactically (ie regularly) to prevent migraines from occurring. It is a bitter digestive and reduces symptoms associated with a sluggish liver such as lethargy, irritability, headaches and migraines. As a nerve tonic it relaxes tension, relieves nerve pain – useful in trigeminal neuralgia – and also has decongestant and anti-catarrhal properties for those irritating head colds!
