Description

Our Practitioner formulated hormonally balancing complex contains Asparagus racemosus and Vitex agnus castus.

Asparagus racemosus, also known as wild asparagus, or Indian asparagus is an Ayurvedic herb. Shatavari translates as “She who possesses a hundred husbands” and is considered one of the most important rejuvenative herbs for women in Ayurvedic medicine. In Ayurveda, Shatavari is primarily used as a menstrual regulator in dysmenorrhoea, menorrhagia and menstrual irregularity. Its demulcent properties make it perfect for soothing and cooling cystitis. It can also reduce fluid retention and is helpful to dissolve stones and gravel. Shatavari of course enhances fertility and is used for low libido.

Vitex agnus castus acts upon the pituitary gland to regulate the production of follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone and prolactin. This leads to an increase in progesterone production during the second half of the cycle, balancing hormones that regulate menstruation and fertility. Relieves symptoms associated with high oestrogen and low progesterone such as migraines, breast tenderness, bloating, mood swings, cramps, fluid retention and PMS. Taken over 3-6 months it regulates menstrual cycle and relieves painful periods. Enhances fertility and remedies amenorrhoea and menorrhagia caused by corpus luteum insufficiency. Useful in PCOS and Endometriosis.
